 | Automating the centrifuge is accomplished by utilizing a digital timer to control the centrifuge, heater, and oil flow into the centrifuge. The timer can be set for any period of processing time and ensures that the centrifuge and heater do not waste excess energy while coordinating the flow of dirty oil into the centrifuge. If it is known how much oil must be processed as well as the oil flow rate it is very easy to determine the amount of time needed to clean a batch of waste oil (e.g. 100 gallons of waste oil @ 10gallons/hour flow rate= 10 hours of processing time), once this time period has elapsed the digital timer guarantees that the centrifuge, heater, and oil flow all shut down simultaneously. The components include a stainless steel electronic ball valve because of its excellent anticorrosive properties, ability to distribute dirty oil, and oil resistant Viton seals. An electronic ball valve must be employed to distribute dirty oil to the centrifuge due to harmful effects the contaminants will have on a cheaper comparable solenoid. It also comes completely wired with a digital timer and power strip, everything to completely automate the oil cleaning process. |
